Free Older Packer: 25 yo. mare, 16.1 hh. Owners can no longer afford to keep her and she deserves a comfortable home in her old age. She is still rideable, though has not been ridden in about a year. With work she could likely do light hunter paces again. She is very comfortable on about 1/2 gram of bute a day and has no health issues. She evented and fox hunted successfully for many years and is very well schooled. She would be excellent for a pony clubber coming along. For Half-Lease: 16 hand, 17 yr old Appendix gelding Sound, excellent manners, events and plays polo, great for an intermediate to advanced rider. He is currently being half-leased by a woman at Rolelu Stables. The lease fee is $200/month, plus one lesson a week (group lesson is $22). The fee is negotiable, as I'm mostly looking for someone to ride him well in lessons and love him while I'm away. The contract is for 1 year with possible renewal. Well started with months of professional flat work and trail training. Stall Available Thistledale Farm has one stall available at our friendly boarding facility in Bloomfield, NY. We have a large riding field, a small x-country course, and trails available. Horses are fed quality hay and grain 2-4x per day depending on the season. We have a 35' indoor lunging arena, and can trailer to use a nearby indoor. Board is $325/month + tax.
