Horse Trials Info

For the August Horse Trials, there will be an Intro Division similar to the Intro Division at the June Horse Trials. The Intro Division will be run ENTIRELY on SATURDAY. The order will be dressage, cross country, then stadium. The dressage test will be the USEA Beginner Novice, Test A. You can download a copy HERE. The 10-12 X-C jumps will include logs and miniature versions of traditional cross-country fences not to exceed 2'2" with no water or ditches. The total Entry fee is $100. There are no starter fees. To enter the Intro division, fill out the 2009 Horse Trials and Two-Day Events Entry Form that you can download HERE. On the line for Level, type in Intro. On the "Fees Enclosed" section, cross out the $19.00 for USEA Fees and put in $100.00 for the Entry Fee. Here are your VOLUNTEER opportunities: Saturday (August 22) 10 am - Weedwhacking around all cross country jumps, dressage rings and judges stands. Meet in stabling area at Hideaway Farm and BYOW (bring your own weedwhacker or weed diggers). Monday (August 31) is the Tear Down Day for the Horse Trials. Meet in jumping field at Hideaway Farm from 5:00 till done.
