Year End Awards
Year End Awards for Driving, Eventing and Volunteer Teams are presented at the Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner which is on January 7, 2011 (Saturday) at the Yard of Ale, 3226 Genesee St, Piffard, NY 14533.
Cost is $20.00/member, $25/ non-member. Please bring cash or check with you. Activity starts at noon.
We will also have our Silent Auction at the Annual Meeting. Contact Nancy Reale (585) 218-9996 or nancyreale@gmail.com if you have items to donate for the silent auction or the raffle.

Remember:
To be eligible for year end awards:
1. Both the Rider or Driver and the Owner of the horse must be GVRDC members in good standing by June 1st.
2. The minimum requirement of 8 hours of volunteer time must be accrued at the events specified on the appropriate Award Form. Only the volunteer time of the Rider or Driver counts towards eligibility, not the volunteer time of family/friends.
NOTE The address on the award forms printed in the Newsletter is incorrect. The correct address is on the forms you can download from this website.
For Driving: Driving Award Form
Awards will be given in the categories of Pleasure (Dressage, Reinsmanship, Pleasure) and of Performance (Fault & Out, Cross Country, Scurry).
The divisions are: Miniature Horse, Small Pony, Large Pony, Multiple Pony, Horse, Multiple Horse, and Junior as the number of entries permits.
For Eventing: Eventing Award Form
Awards will be given in the following categories: Intro, Beginner Novice Rider, Beginner Novice Horse, Novice Rider, Novice Horse, Open Novice, Training Rider, Training Horse, Open Training, Preliminary Young Rider, Preliminary, and Intermediate.
This year only: because the June horse trials was converted to a Combined Test, your placing at the Combined Test will count towards Year End Awards.
For Volunteer Teams: Volunteer Team Award Form
One award will be given to the Volunteer Team (4 members per team) that accrues the most volunteer hours during the awards year.
Note: Volunteer hours of Board Members and the Webmaster do not count for Volunteer Team awards.
Send in your Team name and list of members to Viv Roe, our Volunteer Team Coordinator.
